Small Groups
The purpose of a Small Group is to provide a safe environment where you can grow in intimacy with Christ, share authentic Christ-like love with others, and reach out to your neighbors with the love of Jesus Christ. Here at CCC, we want every attendee and member to join a small group. By connecting to others in a small group, spiritual formation and transformation begins. There is no better place for you to receive the support and encouragement needed to navigate through life than a small group.
What types of Small Groups are there?
Neighborhood-based Small Groups...
Creating neighborhood-based Small Groups is a great way of sharing your faith in your own community. The locations of potential Small Group members are mapped out and organized into "neighborhoods." This may consist of your actual neighborhood, subdivision or designated agreed upon location of choice by the group. Using the mapping information as a guide for placement, interested future Small Group members are assigned to either a new or previously established Small Group near their home.
Interest-based Small Groups...
Interest-based Small Groups draw their members from a common interest or life experience. These interests or experiences include, but are not limited to the following: newly married singles, first-time parents, related hobbies, etc. This is not an attempt to make groups exclusive or narrow, but rather a means of initially organizing groups so that it is relatively easy for anyone in any stage of life or maturity to find a small group.
