Faith, Hope, and Love Homes

"Three homes--one purpose: Helping people in need."

Thank you for wanting to know more about what God is doing through the ministry of our "FAITH, HOPE and LOVE HOMES". This ministry provides temporary emergency housing for families who find themselves in difficult times affecting their ability to have a safe place to live. CCC members are given preference in housing acceptance.

A little history: In 2006 we pulled together as a church family and raised money to purchase three homes and properties just north of our church building on Old Statesville Road. Adjoining our existing property, these acquisitions expanded our physical "footprint" by about 3.5 acres giving us room for future expansion and significantly increasing our visibility along Hwy 115. Initially, we purchased the properties for the primary purpose of giving us land for future growth, but we quickly realized that in addition, the homes themselves could be used in the meanwhile for God's glory by helping families in trouble-especially during these difficult financial times.

The Faith, Hope and Love Homes are used to assist desperate families in providing them a safe place to live when otherwise they might have nowhere to go. Just one example:

During the 2010 Christmas season CCC members worked together to get the "Love" home in better condition (when we purchased it, it was in really poor condition and almost untenable). After a lot of hard work, just before Christmas Day we moved a desperate mother and her three children (who had been living in their CAR) into the refurbished home. It became a safe haven for them. CCC took them in when they had nowhere to live, eat or lay their heads. We gave them refuge and loved on them in the Name of Christ because this is what Christians do! Christians SERVE one another. They serve the poor, those forgotten or neglected by society and those in need. This story could be repeated over and over through the ministry of the Faith, Hope and Love homes.

The Faith, Hope and Love Homes are used for church families in need, for single parents and their children, for housing Missionaries while on furlough and for needy families in the community. God is using the Faith, Hope and Love Homes to meet needs and change lives!
